Science Success Fast Track — Transfer Program
The Science Success Fast Track is a learning community for incoming transfer students who have declared a science related major. Students in this community will benefit from the following enhancements:
This program is offered as Living-Learning Community or a Non-Residential Community. Living-Learning Community in Winkler Hall/Busch Campus The Science Success Fast Track Living-Learning community will be in Winkler Hall on Busch campus. Residents live in 6-person suites, each with its own living room and bathroom, two students per bedroom. Busch campus is home to life sciences, chemistry, physics, geological sciences, mathematics, pharmacy, and engineering, offering good proximity to classes and departments for students pursuing a math or science major. Residents will enjoy academic support programs, have unique opportunities to meet faculty and graduate students in informal settings, and benefit from having a peer-mentor-in-residence. To join this learning community, students must complete the online application form for the respective community they are applying for. Currently, this residential program is filled however completing an online application will place you on the waiting list. Click here to apply now! Non-Residential Community Non-Residential Community members will enjoy programs to foster a connection with different faculty members and departments in science and math fields. Members will also benefit from tutoring programs, advising events, and activities to showcase the different career opportunities open to them. Because students meet weekly for the “Students in Transition” seminar, a sense of connection is fostered among the students themselves, helping them become established at Rutgers during their first semester. Please note the non-residential community is open to both commuters and to students who are living on campus but are not part of the living-learning community. Eligibility: To be eligible for Sciences Success Fast Track, you must planning to pursue a major in the Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Food Science, Applied Sciences, Mathematics or Computer Science.
